House of KI NO BI
About House of KI NO BI
The House of KI NO BI offers a blending room, seminars for gin enthusiasts and a shop with exclusive items to showcase our philosophy and identity as a pioneer of Japanese spirits.
A renovated machiya, first built over 100 years ago. As with their gins, they have tried to use local ingredients wherever possible in the House of KI NO BI, such as handmade wooden furniture by local craftsmen “In wood” and fabrics from the traditional Nishijin company, Hosoo. The wallpaper has been produced by KIRA KARACHO, part of the KARACHO karakami atelier founded in Kyoto in 1624. The interior design is by Douglas Kakuda Croll, son of two of the founders and a graduate of the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL London.
